Join Tiffany in a 4-week series that will begin with a brief introduction to yoga and meditation and then walk you through a typical yoga class and meditation experience. You will learn several yoga poses, including how to flow through them, as well as proper alignment and modifications that will work best for your body. At the end of the series, you will feel comfortable taking classes on the weekly Yoga Strong schedule. You will also leave with a basic understanding of meditation, including simple ways to meditate on a daily basis, as well as the benefits. Questions are welcomed and encouraged throughout the series. Please wear clothes that you feel comfortable in, and bring a pen / pencil (handouts / worksheets will be provided) and a yoga mat (mats are available to purchase or rent at the studio). Classes will be held in the non-heated room. Class limit= 14.
