Start the new year off with a 4-week series that introduces you to yoga and meditation and then walks you through a typical yoga class and meditation experience. You will learn several yoga poses, including how to flow through them, as well as proper alignment and modifications, to help ease your nerves before walking into a yoga class. You will also leave with a basic understanding of meditation, including simple ways to meditate, as well as the benefits. Questions are encouraged. Please wear comfy clothes, and bring a pen (handouts will be provided) and a yoga mat (mat rental $2 at the studio). Non-heated room. Class limit= 14.
