Prenatal yoga helps expectant mothers find relief from pregnancy discomforts and can help prepare the body and mind for labor, delivery and beyond Expect to learn postures that will help to increase flexibility and strength as well as provide opportunities for deep relaxation. Also included in the workshop will be breathing tools and practices that can relieve stress and help expectant mothers remain calm and focused.
Props, hands on assists and gentle massages will be included. Modifications will be offered to accommodate moms at various points in their pregnancies. Expect an opportunity to share with and learn from other women in a safe communal environment. This workshop will be held in the non-heated studio. No previous yoga experience is necessary.
